About our founder
Flex Flues was born out of a passion for quality workmanship and a desire to raise the standard in the flue and fireplace industry. My journey began working for a local fire shop, where I started as a fitter’s mate and labourer. Over time, I moved into the stove production team, and eventually qualified as a HETAS-registered installer.
As my experience grew, I also trained as a surveyor, expanding my knowledge of system design, safety, and compliance. After several years in the industry, I knew I wanted to create a company that combined expert craftsmanship with exceptional customer service—and that's how Flex Flues came to life.
With over nine years of hands-on experience, I’m proud to offer a service that’s built on reliability, professionalism, and the highest standards of safety and quality.
Our Suppliers
Here at Flex Flues We proudly supply and install stoves from trusted manufacturers including Woodford Stoves and Dean Forge. Both companies offer a wide range of high-quality appliances to suit different homes and heating requirements, with outputs ranging from 4kW up to 12kW. A variety of styles and price points are available, ensuring there is an option to suit most budgets. All appliances we install are DEFRA approved, meeting current emissions standards for safe and efficient use.
Dean Forge is a family-run British manufacturer with roots dating back to 1969, founded in the hamlet of Dean Prior on the edge of Dartmoor. Now in its third generation, the business continues to build on a proud legacy of craftsmanship and innovation. Dean Forge began producing wood-burning stoves in 1978 and has grown into a respected name in both wood and multi-fuel appliances. All stoves are manufactured in Dean Prior, Devon, with doors cast in a British foundry, ensuring quality, durability and true British heritage in every stove.
